CHINA'S TRANSPORT

So many contrasts. A lot of people to move around this vast country. The trains - they have to be the envy of many countries with their magnetic "levitating" line to the high speed numbers while cavernous airports and train stations seem to deal fairly well with hoards of travellers.

And then we go to every day. The bikes, buses and scooters rule with a wonderful array of accessories for rain and the cold. Notable was the absence of noise in the main area of Shanghai - electric only. Well done Shanghai!

The water - it shares it's space with tourist boats, ferries, fishing boats and bamboo rafts to mention a few.
